Geburtstag - Birthday

Unser kleines Maedchen ist jetzt schon zwei Jahre alt, ich kann gar nicht glauben, wie die Zeit vergeht. Wir hatten eine nette Party am letzten Mittwoch abend und dann eine grosse Party mit neun der Familien, die mit uns in China waren. Es war eine Mischung aus Geburtstags- und Halloween Feier, die Bilder sprechen fuer sich.

Our little girl is already two years old, I can't believe how time flies. We had a nice party last Wednesday evening and a big party on the weekend with nine of the eleven families we travelled to China with. It was a Birthday/Halloween Party, the photos speak for themselves :-)

It is fall again and that is usually a busy time in terms of anniversaries, birthdays etc. The last weekend of September we went up North to a conference where the first photo was taken. We stayed in a cabin and didn't have a good night sleep but it was mostly because of partying noises.
Es ist wieder Herbst und das ist normalerweise eine Jahreszeit wo viele Geburtstage und Feierlichkeiten stattfinden. Am letzten September Wochenende waren wir im Norden bei einer Konferenz wo ich das Foto unten geschossen habe. Wir kamen dort in einer kleinen Huette unter und haben ziemlich schlecht geschlafen, es war zu laut von den Feierlichkeiten.

My cousin and her boyfriend came for a visit, we went to Toronto for dinner and then to Cherry Beach where the second photo was taken, a nice view of the skyline of TO from there....
Meine Kusine Sibylle und Freund Jan waren drei Wochen in Kanada und USA und wir waren fuer einen Abend in Toronto, wo wir am Cherry Beach Halt machten, man hat dort eine tolle Sicht auf die Toronto Skyline....

I volunteered at the Trek of Treat race in Toronto, here is a nice shot from us volunteers.
Am letzten Freitag habe ich bei dem Trek or Treat (einem Nachtlauf, auf dem sich die meisten Laeufer auch verkleiden) ausgeholfen, hier ein Schnappschuss von uns dreien.

Just a quick update - nur ein schneller Update

I don't have photos to upload right now, they are all still on the camera, I promise to do so soon.
Since my last post, we have been at the cottage for two weekends, had my sister Anja and family here for a 5-day visit, had Steve's 40th Birthday Party, had a family gathering at Eddie's brother Joe, had another race (me) and had a few people stay at our house for a a couple days. Never a dull moment.....
Next weekend we will hopefully (finally) sell the Passat and Steve will have to prepare for another trip to Georgian Bay with the Y.
In the next post I will publish some recent photos of the last month, please stay tuned.

Ich habe momentan keine Fotos zum reinstellen, sie sind alle noch in der Kamera, ich muss sie nur auf dem Computer speichern.
Seit meinem letzten Eintrag waren wir an zwei Wochenenden im Cottage, hatten Anja und Familie fuer 5 Tage zu Besuch, hatten Steve's 40. Geburtstagsfeier, hatten ein Familientreffen bei Eddie's Bruder Joe, hatten einen Lauf (ich) und hatten ein paar Leute fuer ein paar Tage bei uns zuhause zu Besuch. Es wird hier nie langweilig.....
Naechstes Wochenende werden wir dann hoffentlich endlich den Passat verkaufen und Steve muss sich auf seinen letzten Y-trip zu Georgian Bay vorbereiten.
Im naechsten Eintrag werde ich ein paar neuere Fotos reinstellen, bitte bleibt dabei.
