Easter 2011 - Ostern 2011

It has been too long - viel zu lange her.....

Life has just been so busy with vacations, job changes and all kinds of other things that I haven't been able to post much here (some photos below). We went to Mexico in February, here is the facebook link, just click on it (don't have to upload photos into blogger then).

I have started a new job and have been working there already three weeks. It is going well so far, the commute is a bit annoying since I am going towards Toronto every day but we have also been looking at houses in a different neighbourhood which would be closer to work, so will give an update on that when we have it.

We met up with 5 families of Hope's adoption group on Saturday at the Maple Syrup Festival at Mountsberg Conservation Area. It was still quite cold but the kids had fun. Unfortunately I forgot the camera, if I get a hold of some photos from the other families I will post them.

That is it for now, here comes the German version.

Wir hatten ein paar volle Monate mit Jobwechsel, Urlaub und andere Dinge, daher konnte ich nicht die Zeit finden, mal wieder zu posten (habe unten ein paar Fotos reingestellt). Oben ist ein Link zu unseren Mexico Fotos, wir waren im Februar eine Woche in Puerto Vallarta zu Besuch bei Steve's leiblichem Vater.

Ende Februar habe ich einen neuen Job angefangen, soweit so gut. Leider muss ich jetzt jeden Tag in Richtung Toronto fahren aber wir haben uns schon ein paar Haeuser in einer anderen Gegend von Oakville angeschaut, was die Fahrt zur Arbeit verkuerzen wuerde. Mehr dazu wenn wir etwas finden, was uns gefaellt.

Am letzten Samstag haben wir uns wieder mal mit 5 der Familien, mit denen wir in 2007 nach China gereist sind, zum Maple Sirup Festival getroffen in einem lokalen Park. Leider habe ich die Kamera vergessen, daher Fotos erst spaeter (falls die anderen Familien mir welche schicken...).

Das war es erstmal wieder, bis bald.

And then the fall was here....und der Herbst war da....

Long time since my last post but there is just too much going on and it won't slow down. I have a few pics to post, hopefully more soon (the Germany pics are on kodakgallery, will try to establish a link).

Three more sleeps - noch dreimal schlafen

Three more sleeps and we will lift off to Germany. As one has notices, the time has flown away without me posting anything here but I have put pics onto facebook which is a bit easier. I am going to put a few shots here to show what we were up to since June.

Noch dreimal schlafen und wir haben ab nach Deutschland. Wie man vielleicht bemerkt hat ist die Zeit verflogen ohne dass ich etwas hier in den Blog reingestellt habe aber auf facebook sind ein paar neuere Fotos und wer interessiert ist, kann mich suchen und einen Friend Request schicken. Man kann sich gar nicht vorstellen, was wir alles in diesen drei Wochen gemacht haben...und ich habe festgestellt, dass wir meistens die Kamera vergessen haben, somit nur aufgelisted ein paar Dinge:

Familienbesuch aus British Columbia fuer eine Woche.......und wahrscheinlich habe ich noch was vergessen.

Es wird aber auch in den naechsten Wochen nicht weniger bis zum 17. August, wenn wir nach Deutschland fliegen. Daher hatte ich nicht viel Zeit am Computer, aber ich werde versuchen wieder mehr Bilder zu machen. Hier schon mal ein paar....
